Join us for our upcoming Political Leaders Series Event hosting The Honourable Neil Lumsden, Minister of Sport.

Throughout his life and successful career as an athlete, administrator, entrepreneur, and community volunteer, Neil Lumsden has focused on making a positive difference in people’s lives. Minister Lumsden’s impressive resume in sports includes winning the Vanier Cup in 1975, 10 years playing in the CFL – winning 3 Grey Cups with the Edmonton Eskimos, and a fourth as General Manager of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. As Chief Operating Officer and GM of the 2003 World Cycling Championship, he helped to successfully deliver this world-class event to Hamilton, and then went on to establish his own sports and marketing agency, before becoming the Director of Sports, Sports Medicine and Performance at Brock University.

As Minister of Sport, he is working to build a better Ontario by making sport safer and more accessible, maximizing the economic impact of sport tourism for Ontario communities, and investing in local infrastructure across the province.
