Old Toronto History Walking Tour
August 22 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm$45
Join local historian Bruce Bell for a fascinating walking tour of the area around the Albany Club. This ‘historic’ walk will include stops at the site of Toronto’s first jail with its infamous hanging yard. Also, the once terrifying ‘Cholera Pits’ where up to 3,000 bodies were buried during the outbreaks of cholera in the 1830’s. We will also visit the site where Father of Confederation and George Brown was assassinated. All this and more in just a few short blocks around the Church and King area. Before or after the walk, enjoy a $20 beverage/dining credit at the historic Albany Club!
