There are over half a million Canadians of all ages living with Alzheimer’s, dementia and other disorders that cause neurological decline, with another 25,000 being diagnosed every year. The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada estimates the number of sufferers will increase to almost 1 million in the next 15 years.
